PCB and/or asbestos contaminated cable and wire
We are particularly proud of the technology employed in our PCB
and asbestos contaminated wire and cable decontamination
process. The system was originally designed to meet strict
contract requirements to process PCB and asbestos contaminated
cable and wire removed from obsolete US Navy war vessels that
were being dismantled for salvage.
In November 1995, after 3 years of rigorous USEPA and State
sanctioned demonstration tests, including hundreds of hours of
USEPA analytical comparison studies, USEPA granted their formal
approval of the system.
Since then over 9 million pounds of contaminated cable and wire
has been safely processed for disposal under contract with the
Department of Defense.
